Matcha green tea smoothie bowl
I have been obsessing over matcha green tea lately (and when I say lately, I mean for the past 2 years haha). It is my favourite in a latte, but recently I have been adding it to smoothies!
This smoothie bowl provides you with antioxidants, energy, protein, and lots of fibre! Try it for breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack! :)
Ingredients:
1 cup kefir (plain)
1 tsp. matcha green tea powder
1 bunch frozen spinach
1 banana
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. ground flax
Toppings:
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/4 cup roasted slivered almonds
2 tbsp. unsweetened shredded coconut
1/4 cup granola (optional)
Directions:
Blend all smoothie ingredients together, pour into bowl. Top with toppings and enjoy! :)
